Boryszew S.A. Oddział Nowoczesne Produkty Aluminiowe Skawina (NPA Skawina) zakończył właśnie z sukcesem pierwsze badania na nowej linii demonstracyjnej, zmierzające do opracowania technologii produkcji walcówek z wysokowytrzymałych stopów aluminium serii 2xxx, 5xxx oraz 7xxx. Trwające dziewięć miesięcy prace budowalne i montażowe wykonał Uniserv S.A., w większości w warunkach ciągłej produkcji zakładu. Wartość wdrożenia innowacji w NPA Skawina wynosi ponad 74 mln zł. Budowa nowej specjalistycznej, efektywniejszej energetycznie i ekologicznie linii pozwoliła zarówno poszerzyć portfolio oferowanych walcówek, jak również wejść w nowe sektory rynku (spawalnictwo).
Współfinansowana ze środków Europejskiego Funduszu Rozwoju Regionalnego linia demonstracyjna jest przede wszystkim najnowocześniejszą instalacją tego typu w skali świata. Zastosowane technologie i urządzenia wpłynęły znacząco na zmniejszenie energochłonności, wydajności produkcji i, co ważne, zmniejszenie emisji zanieczyszczeń. Nowa instalacja odznacza się bardzo niskim oddziaływaniem na środowisko, spełniając wyższe wymagania niż stawiane przez wytyczne BAT.
– Trwające od kilku tygodni testy produkcyjne oraz badania przemysłowe potwierdzają zgodność osiągniętych parametrów eksploatacyjnych linii demonstracyjnej z parametrami projektowanymi. Projekt i prace budowlane w hali produkcyjnej, a także projekt i wykonanie instalacji towarzyszących oraz montaż nowej linii wykonała firma Uniserv S.A. – znana z realizacji dla energetyki.
